OK This blog is an attachment to yesterdays..

Now what is going on in the life of Jen? Well that is a toughy. I just quit my job to stay stay at home with the kids and spend as much time with Nick before he deploys for overseas. My last day is June 13th. I am currently trying to keep my house clean. haha. That is a big BIG JOKE at times, partly because when i do go to work and my babysitter is here… tell me.. if your in the same house as the children letting them do whatever they want.. is that really babysitting? I’ll leave for work and the house with be clean, dishes and all, and when i get home i cant ever barely walk threw my door. Just random stuff that they shouldnt even be touching is all over the floor. Hmm… 6 more days.

I am still in the process of trying to lose some weight. So far whatever i try does NOT seem to work. But im trying some new things, including eating some stuff that is NASTY, no soda, nice exercize… and so on and so on…

Now its not a secret that Nick and i dont always get along and we have our issues. Well we are currently more in love than ever and its gonna stay that way! We finally are able to communicate without misunderstandings and fights. We have talked about a lot of things that we never have and i thank God for everything that he has done. I love him with all my heart and now he knows that for sure..

Well more later. Im sure im gonna have a fun day today that will have to get posted =-)

Hello!

After over a year of children, and husband, working and all kinds of other stuff happening, i realized today  that i completly forgot about my lovely Military wife blog. Oops =-)

So Janell This is for you! An update on my family and I..Lets Start with Nick.

Nicholas: Is currently in Death Valley California for his NTC training, he left May 16 and will finally return on June 9th. He says that he cannot wait to come home.. we all miss him terribly.

Kialani: My lovely daughter is now 5 years old as of yesterday. She is growing up to be such a smart little girl. She is still all about makeup and nailpolish, and being very high maintenance when it comes to her clothes.. she is slowly expanding her interest which now include Hannah Montana and Barbies. For her birthday i got her a new barbie, Ken doll (which i ended up giving to Jacen because he felt left out) a barbie jeep and swimming pool. I unfortunatly had to work on her birthday and i got off work at 6:30pm, and i took her to enjoy a nice birthday dinner at a mexican restaurant with some friends. After dinner we went back to Hayleigh’s house to enjoy some cake and sing happy birthday.. when we finally made it home she got the gifts previously mentioned. Now my daughter never ceases to amaze me in more ways than one. On the way home from Hay’s house, Uncle Robert (Nick’s Brother) called to tell her happy birthday, within the first few seconds of talking to him i overhear her telling him, “Mommy is ruining my day”. Now believe me when i tell you that because of the fact that it was “HER DAY” i kept my temper really really well and she didnt get yelled at one time even when she yelled at me in the middle of the restaurant because she said she wasnt hungry and she just wanted her presents, well i told her that she would have to wait til we got home. So needless to say she hurt my feelings.

Jacen: So now is my handsome oldest son. He is growing up so big. He is so polite to everyone. He HAS to say hi to everybody! Its a good thing and a bad thing at the same time. He is absolutly still in love with cars. He has 4 cars that he has to have with him where ever he goes! He is going to be 4 on June 18th.  I cannot believe how fast these children are growing up.  Most of the time he is my good child. There are times when we are shopping that he feels the need to run around all the racks of clothes or he sees a fountain and asks if he can have the pennies at the bottom of it. Heehee. Overall he is very well behaved. I am hoping that i can get him into preschool this year.

Daniel: My dubba. What can i say about Daniel?  My little miracle baby is learning his favorite word. “NO” Everything is No. Unless your talking about food. Then its yes. Or his sippy. Its yes. Everything else… NO. lol. He loves to give hugs. He will stand there arms wide open looking at you and say “huu” If you dont look at him, open your arms and say “hug” , he will just stand there til you do. When you do, he runs at you as fast as his chubby little legs will carry him and wraps his arms all the way around your neck and squeeze.. very very cute. He loves to chase his brother and sister around growling at them. Then laughing. haha.

Jennifer… This is going to be another day, i hope tomorrow if i can remember =-) There is just so much to say… hehehe

Hope you enjoyed

Good night!!

So, another day goes bye… today was a pretty decent day. I woke up with my kids and started making breakfast… turned on some cartoons and waited for Nick to get home.. He went out to pick up our new WII game… The new Mario Kart… now i love this game but i thought that it would be hard to play since the WII is so….envolved..but in fact it was fun. A lot of fun! We were having alot of fun playing, so we decided to order a pizza. After the pizza it was Nick’s turn to play with the kids…in other words keep them busy so i can sneak out the door to do laundry. I make it out the house without them seeing me leave, i make it to the laundry mat…now this is a place that is kinda like a soothing place… i get work done and i have my quiet time… i turn on my MP3 player, put in my headphones and get to work. I listen to music, i sing(under my breathe so i don’t bug anyone) and i pray and think. I think about everything that is going on in my life, i think about my kids and my husband, my best friend, my family, being in a strange place…getting used to the fact that for the next 3 years Kansas will be my home, getting used to the fact that my best friend is not 15 minutes down the road, she is now a 1,500 miles away..as well as my family. Thinking about my new tattoo gun that i bought and hoping that it eases the time here. I hope that i can get good enough to do something with it..

After a nice long thoughtful day at the laundry mat i head back home to finish the house chores. I fed the fam, put the laundry away, and tucked everyone in.

More tomorrow!

A day in the life of a Military Wife

Today started off like any other day, the kids walking into our room and crawling in bed with us. I think that is cute how they do, and then go back to sleep. After another hour or so we decided that it was time to get up and start our day. We head to take our baths and as i start the water for the kids i walk over to my husband sitting on the computer and give him his morning kiss.. which so happens to be 2 steps from my childrens closet…i grab some clothes for all of them to wear for the day and i head back in the bathroom… after we are all finished getting nice and clean, we head back out to the front room of SpongeBob and getting dressed. Now normally i would give my daughter a choice between 2 outfits, it gives her a sense of self and making her own decisions, but today was a 1 outfit day. She is out of the clothes that she loves wearing and i have to do some laundry to get them back…the fights start. First she absolutly hates the pink pants…but she has no choice which makes her even madder. We argue for a few minutes, i finally get her to put them on, struggles, and then i send her to her room because we have a no-whinning tolerance. If she has something that she wants to say, she needs to say it in a normal tone…now let me remind you that my daughter is 3, and VERY STUBBORN. There is no talking to her about her clothes… she doesnt understand that she can’t wear the cute pants with the strawberries on them because she had a accident the day before, and to top it off she is the most high maintenance little girl i have ever met…I’m talking lipgloss, everytime we go to the store she would give up a $50.00 toy for a $0.97 lipgloss…which is good in some ways but others not so much…

After our many struggles this morning my husband and i decide that we want to do something fun with the kids… now it was nice and sunny up to this point in the day… the second we step outside to take them to the park…it’s starts RAINING! Now after you tell a 2 and 3 year old that they are going to play at the park with the slides and swings… thats all they think about… so we try to compromise with them and take them to get happy meals. Didn’t work. Another fight persists…

After this fun filled day this military wife had to come back to our “lovely” home in Kansas… and clean, clean and more clean…then cook dinner….then clean some more….

Fun huh???

Hanging at the house

Having fun with my husband!!! I love him!!!!!!!!!!!!
